Entrance Test on Saturday, 7 th May, 2011 9.30 am to 12.00 pm
Eligibility: The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with minimum 50% marks (45% for S.C. /S.T. students) in one attempt ( No compartment). Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible.
Age Limit: Candidate should be less than 20 years of age at the time of appearing for the SET, as on 07 May 2011 (2 years relaxation for SC/ST candidate).
Intake: The total intake is 250 seats (inclusive of 180 seats of B.B.A.LL.B and 70 seats of B.A.LL.B).
Reservation: Reservation of seats: Within the sanctioned intake limit.
Scheduled Caste : 15%
Scheduled Tribe : 7.5%
Differently abled : 3%
Wards of Serving/Retired Defense personnel : 5%
Over & Above sanctioned intake :-
Kashmiri Migrants : - 2 seats per programme.
International students: - 15 % of total intake (Including PIO and NRI).

You may register for SET exam by paying the fee in either of the following ways:
- This 'Payment Advice' form is in three parts. Pay Rs. 1500/- in cash at Axis Bank branch in your city. Refer to the list of branches on the website. The bank will return two parts of the 'Payment Advice' form to you. The 'Student copy' is your receipt. Sign the Symbiosis copy of the ' Payment Slip ' form stamped by Axis Bank and send it to, Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Symbiosis International University, Gram: Lavale, Tal: Mulshi, Dist: Pune - 411042.
- Get a crossed demand draft for Rs. 1500 /- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune. Sign the single copy of the 'Payment Advice' for Demand Draft and send it along with Demand Draft to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at, Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Symbiosis International University, Gram: Lavale, Tal: Mulshi, Dist: Pune - 411042.
- You may pay directly through either Master or Visa card online. Follow the instructions given in the SET website.
Completed application form should reach the Symbiosis Test Secretariat office by April 16, 2011.
Step 2: SET is only the first step. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process . After paying SET fees, candidates can directly apply online for admission to Symbiosis Law School . The application fee is Rs. 1000 . The payment for this can be made online by credit card along with the payment of SET registration OR by forwarding a Demand Draft in favour of "Director, Symbiosis Law School" payable at Pune, to the Institute or by paying through credit card at the time of online application to the institute OR through Net Banking (account details are available on the Application form). In case payment is made by Demand Draft, then mention your name and the SET ID number on the back of the Demand Draft.
