ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR
5 Years Course For The Session 2010-2011
B.A. LL.B, B.B.A, LL. B

Entrance Test on 2nd May, 2010 (Sunday) : 9.30 A.M to 12.00 Noon

Eligibility : The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with minimum 50% marks (45% for S.C. /S.T. students) in one attempt ( No compartment). Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible.

Age Limit :Candidate should be less than 20 years of age at the time of appearing for SET as on 02 May 2010.
(2 years relaxation for SC/ ST candidates i.e. 22 years).

Intake : 200 seats (Inclusive of 150 seats of B.B.A. LL.B. and 50 seats of B.A. LL.B.).

Reservation : Within the sanctioned intake:-

• Scheduled Caste: 15%
• Scheduled Tribe: 7.5 %
• Sponsored Category (Management Quota):15%
• Differently abled: 3%
• Wards of Serving/Retired Defence Personnel: 5%
• Over & above sanctioned intake:
• Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats per Programme
• International students: 15 % (including PIO and NRI)

Application : Step 1: Register online at www.set-test.org .

You may register for SET exam by paying the fee in either of the following ways:

(a) This 'Payment Advice' form is in three parts. Pay Rs. 1400 /- in cash at Axis Bank branch in your city. Refer to the list of branches on the website. The bank will return two parts of the 'Payment Advice' form to you. The 'Student copy' is your receipt. Sign the Symbiosis copy of the 'Payment Slip' form stamped by Axis Bank and send it to, Symbiosis Test Secretariat.

(b)  Get a crossed demand draft for Rs. 1400 /- from any Nationalized Bank in favor of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune. Sign the single copy of the 'Payment Advice' for Demand Draft and send it along with Demand Draft to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat.

(c)  You may pay directly through either Master or Visa card online. Follow the instructions given in the SET website.

Completed application form should reach the SLS office by 18th April 2010 .

Step 2: SET is only the first step. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process . After paying SET fees, candidates can directly apply online for admission to Symbiosis Law School. The application fee is Rs. 1000 . The payment for this can be made online by credit card along with the payment of SET registration or by forwarding a Demand Draft in favor of "Principal, Symbiosis Law School" payable at Pune , to the Institute or by paying through credit card at the time of online application to the institute. In case payment is made by Demand Draft then please mention your name and the SET ID number on the back of the Demand Draft.

The last date to apply online is May 12, 2010 .
