The entrance tests of top Law Schools attract thousands of candidates and as such, competition is tough. From 2008 onwards, a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) has been introduced for all major National Law Schools like NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, NUJS Kolkata and other National Law Schools. However there shall be separate entrance exams for Symbiosis Pune, IP University Delhi and other Institutes and Universities offering 5 years LL.B. courses.
